Big-haired country star Lyle Lovett has been added to this summer’s Music in the Zoo series, as has a second night for Marc “Walking in Memphis” Cohn.
Tickets for Lovett’s July 21 stop at the Minnesota Zoo are $56 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. Cohn’s second show is July 14 and the $46 tickets will go on sale at the same time.
Lovett, 54, only hit the top 10 once, with 1986′s “Cowboy Man,” but he remains a popular concert attraction as well as an occasional actor in both film and television. The addition of Cohn’s second performance will make him the fourth act this summer with a two-night stand booked at the Zoo, following Brandi Carlile (June 20-21), the Tedeschi Trucks Band (June 24-25) and the BoDeans (July 27-28).
